Bastian Solutions opens Chicago regional office

Bastian Solutions, headquartered in Indianapolis, opened its 15th U.S. office in Naperville, Ill., to service a growing number of customers in the Chicago region.

Bastian Solutions, headquartered in Indianapolis, opened its 15th U.S. office in Naperville, Ill., to service a growing number of customers in the Chicago region.

“The greater Chicago area, in addition to Wisconsin, Iowa and Northwest Indiana are home to many Bastian Solutions clients,” said Greg Conner, Regional Director responsible for the new location. “Strategically, it’s very important that we have a physical presence in the area to not only better serve these existing clients, but also to help grow and develop this region of the country. We’re extremely excited about the opportunity.”

To date, Bastian Solutions has hired two materials handling industry veterans for the new office. Tom Rurik, who previously spent more than 22 years with Intelligrated, Mathews and Alvey, will serve in a senior applications engineering role and focus on expanding business within the region. Jeremy Mink comes to Bastian Solutions after spending the past seven years with Interlake-Mecalux where he specialized in design engineering. Jeremy will serve as a project engineer with focus on material handling equipment integration.

“The Chicago area has been a stronghold of business for us,” explained Gregg Durham, vice president of sales at Bastian Solutions. “With increasing business and the experience of our new team members, we are looking forward to a successful expansion into the region.”

The new office is currently receiving requests for proposals and has a list of suppliers ready to serve customers throughout Chicago, Wisconsin, Iowa and Northwest Indiana.
