Beacon® Hydraulic Box Dumper discharges bulk material with ease

The box dumper increases stability for dumping product while reducing worker injuries.

Efficient material handling and dumping is achieved with safe worker performance. Beacon® Hydraulic Box Dumpers - Container Dumper are built to last with a durable heavy duty steel design. A single worker controls the rotation up and down simply with a hand-held push button control console. The dumper increases stability for dumping product while reducing worker injuries.

The Box Dumper is engineered to dump boxes, bins, crates and containers with a 45 degree dump angle with an overall 135 degree rotation. Capacities are available in 2,000, 4,000 and 6,000 lbs., engineered with three different designs: a 36” dump height with a level height of 53”; a 48” dump height with a level height of 65” or a 60” dump height with a level height of 77”.

The retaining bars are designed to adjust every 2” to accommodate many container heights. The usable chute on all models is 51-1/2” wide x 50” long. Overall size varies with a 64” wide x 67” long for the 2,000 units and 64” wide x 67” long for the 4,000 and 6,000 lbs. units. Chute reach projection is 10” when fully rotated on all units. The special lowered height of only 3/8” enables a pallet truck to load or unload. All standard and special box dumper chutes are stitch welded. Liquid tight option includes special continuous welds. Safety option includes perimeter fence with magnetic interlock, unit will not operate with gate open.

The unit is powered by an internal 2 Hp. motor on the 2,000 and 4,000 lbs. models and a 5 Hp. motor on 6,000 lb. models. Standard voltage design includes 460V AC, 3 Phase, 60 Hz. with other electrical options available. Hydraulics include pump and reservoir, pressure relief valve, check valve, down solenoid valve, compensated flow valve and hydraulic cylinders with velocity fuses for safety.

Many Fortune 500 companies and governments rely on Beacon in the material handling industry. As one Event ID: 11228 example that has utilized the Beacon Box Dumper is a company that performs 100% digital end of life destruction of electronics and computers. The Beacon box dumper has proven to be a cost effective piece of equipment in day to day operations.
