Houston-based manufacturer Cat Lift Trucks recently donated a Cat® lift truck hand pallet truck to Houston Habitat for Humanity. Habitat will use the 5,500 lb. capacity truck at the organization’s Houston headquarters to assist with the lifting and moving of floor tiles, paint, drywall and other construction materials.

“Cat Lift Trucks’ donation will help Houston Habitat for Humanity accomplish our goals as an organization,” said Jerry Kovaly, Houston Habitat for Humanity Construction Director. “Every penny that we save, rather than spending on equipment, can be put back into a house for a family in need.”

Since 1987, Houston Habitat for Humanity, along with thousands of sponsors and volunteers, has built more than 900 affordable homes for purchase by hard-working, low-income Houstonians.
