CEMA reports booked orders for May 2015 up 17.8% from May 2014

The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its May 2015 booked orders increased 17.8% when compared to May 2014 orders.

May 2015 booked orders when compared to April 2015 booked orders were up 11.6%. May booked orders were down 5.5% for bulk handling equipment and up 21.2% for unit handling equipment when compared to April.

CEMA’s May 2015 billed sales (shipments) increased by 1.4% when compared to May 2014 sales. May 2015 billed sales when compared to April 2015 billed sales were down 2.9%.

May billed sales were down 6.8% for bulk handling equipment and down 0.8% for unit handling equipment when compared to April.
