Introduced on the show floor on Monday, in Buckhorn’s Booth 1219, the Maximizer container has a 48 x 40 inch footprint and 1,000-pound capacity. The collapsible unit features an integrated pallet and lid and is an alternative to corrugated boxes.
“The Maximizer is ideal for shipping and storing light-duty dry goods, because it maximizes productivity, cost savings, safety, space usage and sustainability,” explained Mike Thomas, Buckhorn’s new product development manager.
Unlike limited-use corrugated containers that can be awkward to assemble and knockdown, the Maximizer is easily constructed by one person and can be reused hundreds of times, Thomas noted. Sidewalls are secured with integrated locks.
Constructed of durable, moisture-resistant plastic the container can be used indoors or outside. For storage, one assembled unit holds eight collapsed containers inside for a 5:1 return ratio.
