Colson and Hytrol celebrate long-standing partnership

In recognition of working together successfully for five decades, Colson Caster presents Hytrol Conveyor with a special recognition award.

In 1957, Colson Caster moved from Elyria, Ohio to Jonesboro, Ark. Five years later, in 1962, Hytrol Conveyor also opened its doors in Jonesboro. Since that time, Colson has
been providing Hytrol with all their caster needs.

For five decades, Colson has been supplying casters for both Hytrol’s finished conveyor products as well as the casters used in Hytrol’s production and manufacturing processes.

To honor their successful 50-year history, Colson recently presented Hytrol with a special recognition award. “I’m sincerely appreciative of the longstanding business partnership Colson has with Hytrol.” said Don Laux, Colson Caster Corporation’s president and general manager. “Not only is Hytrol an excellent customer, but also an upstanding example of good business practices and corporate citizenry.”

By all accounts, the long-lived partnership is a significant milestone. Its success is due in part to understanding customers’ needs. For example, the Caster team works directly with Hytrol’s engineering group to develop customer solutions like non-marking caster wheels, and casters that address weight requirements and environmental requirements.

Colson and Hytrol are each recognized as innovative leaders within the materials handling industries. Both companies design and manufacture products to the global marketplace and each have earned global reputations for committed and long-term client partnerships.
