Fastpic Systems announces customer support center for inventory management software

Call center will provide users with dedicated technical assistance for industrial materials handling operations.

FastPic Systems has announced the launch of a dedicated customer support call center to provide customers technical assistance for its full line of inventory management software used in warehouse and distribution operations. FastPic, a company of the Kardex AG of Zurich, Switzerland Group, is a developer of software for automated storage and retrieval system operation.

Customers calling for technical support are directed to a team of trained software support technicians. The FastPic software support technician will diagnose the problem and assist the user in quickly correcting it, minimizing system downtime.

FastPic does provide all users with complete technical product support during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, as a part of the software licensing agreement. In addition, optional emergency 24/7 support is available for customers with mission critical operations that can not afford to have their system down for any length of time. All after hours calls for technical support are handled by a national call center. The call center dispatches a FastPic software technician, who will assist the customer in getting back up and fully operational in the shortest time possible.

FastPic also has a website, exclusively for active customers, that offers downloads including service packs and upgrades, tools, user manuals, technical manuals and online help pages.
