Welcome to ProMat 2013—the industry’s premier expo for manufacturing and supply chain innovation. At ProMat, you will see best-in-class manufacturing and supply chain solutions from 800 exhibiting companies along with a conference of more than 100 educational sessions.

MHI wants to make it as easy as possible to find the products and solutions that interest you and address your operational and supply chain challenges. That’s why we are offering Exhibitor Solution Locator Kiosks located at the front of the show floor. These kiosks allow you to search exhibitors and products displayed on the show floor, as well as create and print a personalized report.

I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities available at The Hub social networking lounge located at the center of the ProMat show floor. The Hub features a Wi-Fi and e-mail center as well as screens displaying video and what people are saying about ProMat through social media. You can also download your ProMat Mobile App at http://www.promatshow.com/app .

This morning’s keynote session features Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media. He will assess the impact of President Obama’s second administration on the future of the economy and business growth. The keynote begins at 8:45 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom, room S100.

There is also a full list of show floor educational seminars and five educational tracks. Please refer to signage in the ProMat registration area and on the informational screen at the show floor entrance for the schedule of events. Or, download the ProMat Mobile App and have all of this information at your fingertips.

I hope that your visit to ProMat is both informative and productive, and during the next three days you will find solutions for your manufacturing and supply chain operations.
