HighJump Software earns SOC certification

Service organization controls provides third-party validation of the quality of a company's data applications.

HighJump Software, a global provider of supply chain management software, has announced that its HighJump RouteCenter On-Demand (RCOD) solution has earned SOC certification by the American Institute of CPAs.

SOC (service organization controls) is the widely accepted industry standard that provides third-party validation as to the security, availability, processing integrity and confidentiality of a company’s data applications.

The SOC certification assures HighJump Software’s direct store delivery customers that mission-critical data housed in the HighJump RCOD solution meets high industry standards in the areas of security, availability, confidentiality and integrity. For example, if there is a natural disaster in one region of the U.S. that destroys a customer data center, the route accounting solution and customer information are protected and available for use via an alternative data center in another region. HighJump Software was evaluated on the following principles:

● Security. The system is protected against unauthorized access (both physical and logical).
● Availability. The system is available for operation and use as committed or agreed.
● Processing integrity. System processing is complete, accurate, timely and authorized.
● Confidentiality. Information designated as confidential is protected as committed or agreed.

“We are pleased to be SOC certified and to demonstrate that we have the appropriate controls in place to mitigate risks relevant to data security, availability and integrity,” said Amy Stelling, senior vice president and general manager, DSD solutions group, HighJump Software. “Our customers trust us with their most important information, and we are committed to providing the most secure and reliable solutions that protect it.”

HighJump Software’s SOC certification was conducted by AuditWerx, LLC.
