To help grocery and general retailers better optimize the in-store fulfillment aspect of an omni-channel strategy, HighJump (Booth 3476) has released the new Retail Advantage solution.
“We’ve leveraged what we’ve done in the warehouse management space and applied that same level of execution capability to the store level,” said Chuck Fuerst, director of product strategy. “The software treats each store as an additional distribution node in a network to better satisfy customer needs.”
By applying DC functionality—including pick-pack-ship workflow and labor management—to the store, retailers gain better control of inventory accuracy, he added.
The solution integrates with point-of-sale (POS), planograms, order management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. For grocers, the system accommodates temperature-sensitive control requirements, as well as displays images to locate products.
Flexible and scalable configuration options include an interface with RF scanners or tablets, as well as printed paper pick lists for the smallest store operations.
