The pressures to control costs and grow profits during financially challenging times are forcing businesses to streamline operations, grow profits and manage expenses, and improve customer services in an effort to remain viable in their respective, highly competitive markets.

As managers look to develop and optimize manufacturing, warehousing and distribution operations, solutions for improving and simplifying complex supply chain processes are becoming a greater necessity in attaining these mission-critical objectives.

Yet interestingly, while adopters are able to claim the practicable benefits delivered by RFID applications, prospective users continue to take a wait-and-see position and still need validation that RFID is a viable solution for their operation.
