Hyster Company recently announced that its lift trucks ranked No. 1 in the United States for customer perception of total cost of ownership, ahead of all full-line lift truck manufacturers.
The annual independent survey, conducted by Peerless Media Research, gauges the most important attributes that customers evaluate for lift truck purchases and which brands lead in these key factors.

“Being recognized by the marketplace as the lift truck provider with lowest total cost of operations is proof positive that Hyster Company delivers true value to its customers”, said Jonathan
Dawley, president of Hyster Company distribution. “It is our constant interaction and involvement with our dealer network that allows us to blend smart products and services with a full line of tough, reliable, purpose-built lift trucks. At Hyster, we do one thing and one thing only: build the lowest operating cost lift trucks – period.”

Peerless Media Research Group conducted the study in July 2011, responses were collected from industry decision-makers involved in the purchasing of material handling equipment, products, technologies and services.  Most of those surveyed were plant managers, distribution center and warehouse management, and corporate management within manufacturing and distribution facilities across a wide range of businesses and industries including automotive, food and beverage, machinery and wholesale trade.
