Lift Trucks: Jonathan Dawley named president of Hyster Distribution

Hyster Company recently named Jonathan Dawley president of Hyster Distribution.

Dawley came to NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc. (NMHG), manufacturer of Yale and Hyster brand lift trucks, in September of 2005 as a regional manager in the Aftermarket business unit of Yale Materials Handling Corporation. Prior to joining NMHG, Dawley held numerous positions related to marketing, communications and management consulting in the automotive industry.

Dawley was named manager of NMHG Aftermarket business development in 2006 and moved to NMHG’s Americas Headquarters in Greenville, N.C. Two years later, Dawley became director of marketing. Less than one year later, in 2009, he was promoted to vice president of marketing for NMHG.

In his newly appointed role as president of Hyster Distribution, Dawley is responsible for the health and output of the Hyster dealer network throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Dawley received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baker College in Auburn Hills, Mich. He resides in Greenville, N.C., with his wife and three daughters. Aside from work and family, Dawley’s interests include motorcycle and automobile racing. He is also devoted to supporting his local church.
