McCue Corporation (Booth 5019) is showcasing its innovative damage protection equipment. The company’s newly improved McCue Crash Barrier, for example, stops impacts from forklifts, pallet jacks and other heavy equipment at their bases using a polypropylene and steel hybrid structure.
“When someone says ‘crash barrier’ you might think of a high, cage-like steel wall,” said David McCue, chairman and founder. “But the realities are quite different. To stop a 4-ton forklift, you need to stop it at the chassis—at its base. And you need to cushion the blow, not stop it cold.”
The Crash Barrier features a universal hardware-covering cap that keeps all of the hardware hidden. Where ordinary crash barrier installation involves pouring concrete curbs or drilling through thick steel, the Crash Barrier installs in minutes with two concrete anchors. At its booth, McCue is also showing its “Goal Post” doorway and roll-up door protector, which is based on an integrated system that absorbs and deflects impact forces.
