MHIA: Woroniecki named executive vice president of business development and operations

Thomas Carbott promoted to MHIA, Senior Vice President of Exhibitions


TheMaterial Handling Industry of America (MHIA) today announced the appointment of Jeff Woroniecki to the position of Executive Vice President of Business Development and Operations of Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA). Mr. Woroniecki brings over 23 years of material handling industry experience to MHIA including roles at MHIA member companies Unarco Material Handling and Interlake Mecalux.

“Jeff has an impressive background to meet the demands of MHIA’s growing business model,” said George W. Prest, MHIA’s Chief Executive Officer. “His experience will be a tremendous asset to MHIA as we advance our efforts to increasing not only member value but awareness of the value of material handing and logistics solutions to the manufacturing and supply chain end user community.”

MHIA also annouced that Thomas Carbott is being promoted to Senior Vice President of Exhibitions. In this role, Tom oversees show sales management, event master scheduling, general contractor management, exhibitor contract management, event space selection and floor plan management.

“Tom’s leadership, dedication and diligence has been key in growing MHIA ProMat and MODEX exhibitions,” said Prest.
