Modex 2012: New integrated control offerings feature flexibility, simplicity

Lenze Americas (Booth 4105), a global manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives, motion control and automation technology, introduced the Servo Inverter i700. Designed for multi-axis applications, the i700 simplifies machine design, build and commissioning, according to Joachim Hanke, head of focus industry intralogistics.

“End-users tell us they need maximum flexibility for product changes,” said Hanke, who said Lenze’s module approach allows the addition of pre-tested standard modules that greatly reduce the length of the commissioning phase. “Our goal is to bring easy-to-use solutions that are precisely targeted to the application.”

Integrated controls and motors, for instance, reduce complexity of installation and interface during commissioning, daily use and maintenance. Hanke said Lenze’s consultative approach further ensures efficiency of the system, ease of use, and optimized cost and space.

Modex 2012 is scheduled to be held February 6-9, 2012 in Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete Modex 2012 coverage.
