Numina demonstrates newest order fulfillment automation tech

Numina Group (Booth 4427) is demonstrating the latest pick, pack and ship technologies. A supplier of warehouse execution and control systems (WES-WCS) and a materials handling integrator, Numina’s latest product is a Web-based user interface for its WES-WCS software platform, RDS (Real-Time Distribution System).

The software gives Web-based applications the responsiveness of desktop applications, but with the added capability of being able to operate on virtually any device. “We wanted screens that are fast, responsive and that operate on the highest percentage of phones, PCs and PDAs,” said Dan Hanrahan, president, “so we selected Google tools.”

Numina also released IFM’s 3-D Smart Sensor Camera, which is incorporated into the latest release of its Vision Pack and Audit System, V-PAS. V-PAS can be purchased as a stand-alone carton content and case picking inspection system or as a component within RDS.
