At electrical and mechanical drive manufacturer Lenze America’s booth (Booth 1064), the focus is on three different types motion control and automation solutions.
“Our latest offerings help equipment builders drive cost out of their systems,” said Doug Burns, director of business development.
Burns pointed to a selection of decentralized control options that allow drives to be located in closer proximity to a conveyor, where the motor is.
“We’re also providing solutions that boost energy efficiency to help customers meet their green initiatives,” he added. “We have some of the highest efficiency motors and gear boxes in the industry. These tools allow us to optimize the size of the power driver to ensure maximum energy savings for the life of the equipment.”
Finally, the company is featuring improved programming tools for machine builders. “This lets OEMs make equipment functionality improvements without having to learn a new programming language,” added Burns.
