Pack Expo Int’l and Pharma Expo 2014 registration opens

Co-located events to feature a combined 2,000 exhibitors and 50,000 attendees in more than 1.1 million net square feet.

PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, owner and producer of the Pack Expo trade shows has announced registration is open for Pack Expo International 2014 (McCormick Place, Chicago; Nov. 2–5) and the co-located Pharma Expo, produced in partnership with the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE).

According to PMMI’s Jim Pittas, vice president, trade shows, PMMI expected the events to draw a combined 2,000 exhibitors and 50,000 attendees to more than 1.1 million net square feet of exhibits.

“Pack Expo International is one of the largest trade shows in the country. With this many exhibiting companies, attendees have the chance to see just about any supplier or any kind of technology they need. It’s a breadth and depth of opportunity you just don’t get anyplace else,” Pittas said, noting that attendees can visit both show floors at no additional cost.

Educational sessions will be presented throughout the exhibit hall, including featured areas such as The Innovation Stage, The Food Safety Summit Resource Center (sponsored by the Food Safety Summit and GE Intelligent Packaging), The Center for Trends and Technologies (sponsored by Rockwell Automation and its PartnerNetwork Program) and the Reusables Learning Center (endorsed by the Reusable Packaging Association). For Pharma Expo, ISPE’s world-class conference program will specifically address needs of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers.

Register for Pack Expo International 2014 online at packexpointernational.com. Registration for Pack Expo and Pharma Expo is $30 through Oct. 3, and increases to the on-site fee of $60 thereafter. A Pack Expo badge grants admission to the co-located Pharma Expo.
