Packaging: Salesmaster announces partnership with M.J. Maillis

ISC Salesmaster Corp., a supplier of packaging products and equipment throughout the Northeast, announced today that they are now offering the Wulftec SMART Semi-automatic stretch wrapper series. Wulftec International was acquired by M.J. Maillis Group in 2002, a leading Europe-based Group that designs, manufactures and distributes complete “end of line” packaging solutions. Wulftec’s SMART Series allows Salesmaster customers to pick components that include the turntables, wrap heights, carriages and control panels for a custom stretch wrapper without the high price tag.

“Wulftec allows our customers to get the stretch wrapper they need, pay only for the features they want and do so without the high price and long waiting times,” said Tom Northrop, sales manager for Salesmaster. “The ability to customize the SMART configurations with modular components helps our customers get a stretch wrapper that meets their specifications.”

Wulftec SMART Series allows Salesmaster’s customers to customize their machines by selecting from eight different low and high profile turntables, pick from multiple wrap heights, decide whether they want powered pre-stretch or no pre-stretch carriages and choose various control panels that allow from basic to high flexible wrapping patterns.

“The Wulftec SMART Series’ modular components allow for flexibility,” said Northrop. “If a customer’s specifications change, we can easily upgrade the control panel, base, carriage and tower height at any time.”

Wulftec SMART Series Stretch Wrappers are made of heavy-duty steel, include Allen Bradley PLCs, NO-THREAD powered pre-stretch carriages and NEMA 4/12 panel enclosures. The dual #50 chain carriage, for increased lift, and the carriage lift motor are both enclosed for better protection. For optimal film delivery, the carriage is side-mounted. Quick connects/disconnects are located throughout the units for ease of installation and maintenance.
