ProMat 2017 features more than 350,000 square feet of expo space

With more than 850 exhibits, 100 informational seminars, and 350,000 square feet of expo space, ProMat 2017 offers the best in materials handling and supply chain technology and innovations.

Standing in front of a crowd of attendees and exhibitors at 10 a.m., MHI President Gregg Goodner welcomed everyone to ProMat 2017, which is taking place April 3-6 at McCormick Place in Chicago. This year’s conference theme is “Solve for X,” meaning the exact place where companies come to find their “X,” or that unknown quantity that will take their supply chain to the next level of success.

“This is the largest show we’ve ever had,” said Goodner, pointing out that ProMat continues to hold its ranking as the biggest industrial and supply chain expo in North and South America. For the first time, ProMat is spread across two show floors at McCormick Place; the show is once again co-located with Automate 2017.

Catherine Morris of the Association for Advancing Automation also welcomed everyone to the conference and invited attendees to check out the many different “expert huddle” opportunities at Automate. “This is also our largest show,” said Morris, “and a very important event for our industry.”

At ProMat, more than 850 exhibitors from industry, commerce and government will display their supply chain solutions and innovations. The event also features 100 sessions that bring together leading experts from the industry to give attendees the latest information on manufacturing and supply chain trends, technologies and innovations.

ProMat 2017 will take place April 3-6, 2017, in Chicago’s McCormick Place. The tradeshow will showcase the latest supply chain equipment, materials handling equipment and systems solutions plus an expansive selection of learning and networking opportunities.
