PSI Engineering unveils Rapid Flow Automated Pack Station

PSI Engineering (Booth 134) unveiled their integrated end-of-line solution designed to enhance order fulfillment throughput, including peak orders and optimize repeat order profitably.

“Automating the pack station process of an order fulfillment line involves more than adding a packing slip. Many companies today are seeking ways to include marketing collateral with their customers’ order to prompt repeat purchases,” said John Panunto, president. “We developed the Rapid Flow Automated Pack Station as a drop-in ready solution at time of installation to reduce the amount of time and cost to get the system running on demand. This solution integrates software, conveyors, patented PSI systems and related inline equipment that is fully synchronized to print/insert or apply pack slips, ship labels, marketing collateral at high volumes to help 3PLs and distribution centers meet their same day ship orders at the lowest cost per order metric.”

The Rapid Flow Automated Pack Station Line is designed so that as the fulfillment volume grows, additional systems can be programmed and added to the line seamlessly. With a cycle time of up to 1,000 orders per hour, this solution serves mid- to high-order volume companies within the e-commerce, 3PL, pharmaceutical and medical supply, and consumer packaged goods industries.
