Record-breaking ProMat opens for business

With more than 800 exhibitors, 340,000 square feet of show floor space and 110 seminars, ProMat 2015 will give more than 35,000 industrial professionals new ideas for increasing the productivity of their manufacturing and supply chain operations.

At 10 a.m., John Paxton, president of MHI, welcomed attendees and exhibitors to ProMat 2015. Co-located with Automate 2015 at McCormick Place South in Chicago, ProMat is set to hit new records this year, according to Paxton, both in terms of numbers of exhibitors (800+) and of attendees (35,000+).

“This year’s show will encompass all of the products, solutions and systems needed to drive manufacturing and supply chain optimization,” said Paxton. Combined, the two show floors will take up 400,000 square feet of space dedicated to helping organizations improve the productivity of their manufacturing and supply chain operations.

ProMat 2015 features 125 educational sessions, including four keynotes, a supply chain workforce summit, and more than 110 show floor seminars focused on the latest materials handling, logistics, and supply chain innovations and applications. The four-day event is set to feature a full calendar of activities, including 45-minute seminars that will be held in specially designed “theaters” constructed right on the trade show floor.

ProMat 2015 is scheduled to be held March 23-26, 2014 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete ProMat 2015 coverage.
