SATO launches universal thermal printer for industrial environments

SATO (Booth 4713), a leader in bar code printing, labeling and EPC/RFID solutions, introduced its new CL4NX series of industrial thermal bar code printers at Modex on Monday at a press conference.


SATO (Booth 4713), a leader in bar code printing, labeling and EPC/RFID solutions, introduced its new CL4NX series of industrial thermal bar code printers at Modex on Monday at a press conference. Engineered for the ultimate operator experience, the printer was developed to support new and legacy printing applications across verticals that need durable and dependable printers that last.

“We listened to the operator and used the feedback to develop a durable product that’s easy to use, integrate and support,” said Tim Cook, VP of sales.

The CLN4X features a 3.5-inch full-color display, built-in video tutorials, tool-free print heads and platen replacement, and print quality that is consistent across a range of consumables, among other features. These features make the CL4NX ideal for manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain logistics, healthcare, retail and other industrial or harsh environments.

Modex 2014 is scheduled to be held March 17-20, 2014 in Atlanta’s Georgia World Conference Center. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete Modex 2014 coverage.
