Welcome to ProMat 2011, the largest international material handling, supply chain and logistics show held in North America.

At ProMat 2011, you will see the best-in-class manufacturing and supply chain solutions from more than 700 exhibiting companies and more than 90 educational sessions.

The Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) is offering Exhibitor Solution Locator Kiosks to make it as easy as possible to find the products and solutions that interest you and address your operational and supply chain challenges. These kiosks allow you to search exhibitors and products displayed on the large show floor, as well as create and print a personalized report. These kiosks are located at the front of the ProMat show floor.

Also, be sure to take advantage of the social networking opportunities available in The Hub at the center of the ProMat show floor. The Hub features a Wi-Fi and e-mail center as well as screens displaying what people are saying on social media about ProMat.

This morning’s Keynote features Robonaut 2—the next generation of robotic technology. The Keynote begins at 8:45 a.m. in Room S102. This afternoon, a full-afternoon track on The People Side of the Supply Chain will be held from 1:00-4:15 p.m. in Room S401.

I hope that your visit to ProMat is informative and productive, and during the next three days you find solutions to your productivity and profitability challenges through better material handling and logistics.

ProMat 2011 will be held March 21 - 24, 2011 at McCormick Place South in Chicago. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern editors produce the Show Daily for the show.
