Tecsys introduces OneSprint WMS offering

At a press conference Monday morning, Tecsys (Booth 1547) introduced a warehouse management system (WMS) designed to fast-track distribution fulfillment execution initiatives for small and midsized businesses or simpler operations of large entities.

Leveraging Tecsys’ cloud platform, OneSprint is a single solution designed to closely match the needs of each customer while offering bi-directional scalability.

“There’s a lot of talk about upward scalability, but few consider the need for downward scalability when opening new locations, product lines or capabilities,” said Robert Colosino, VP of marketing, who emphasized the growing volatility of fulfillment challenges. “Customers often end up with one or more ill-fitting WMS systems with features they’ll never use.”

Colosino said the software’s elasticity enables improvements in picking accuracy, inventory management, customer service, end-to-end visibility and overall efficiency. Using visual technology, OneSprint offers rapid onboarding, intuitive interfaces and extensive personalization.

“Customers want a solution for today,” Colosino said. “If you buy tomorrow’s solution today, you might not be around long enough to put it to use.”

Modex 2016 is scheduled to be held April 4-7, 2016 in Atlanta’s Georgia World Conference Center. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete Modex coverage.
