United Pallet Services joins Reusable Packaging Association

Com­pany will exhibit in the RPA’s Reusable Pack­ag­ing Pavil­ion at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2013.


United Pal­let Ser­vices, Inc. has joined the Reusable Pack­ag­ing Asso­ci­a­tion to lever­age the association’s research and part­ner­ships in sup­port of mar­ket expan­sion. The com­pany will exhibit in the RPA’s Reusable Pack­ag­ing Pavil­ion at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2013, bring­ing the record num­ber of exhibitors to 33.

“We are excited to join this group of dynamic com­pa­nies who are focused on the sus­tain­able trans­port of goods and ser­vices,” said Callen Cochran, busi­ness devel­op­ment man­ager, United Pal­let Ser­vices, Inc. & The point­GUARD Pal­let Pro­tec­tor. “Being a mem­ber will allow us to tap into the research and the part­ner­ships that this orga­ni­za­tion pro­vides to help us meet our goals. We also hope to under­stand how we can bet­ter con­vey to poten­tial cus­tomers the advan­ta­geous ben­e­fits of a reusable pallet.”

The company’s flag­ship prod­uct is The point­GUARD Pal­let Pro­tec­tor, a plas­tic shield sys­tem that is designed to extend the lifes­pan of wooden pal­lets by 400% or more. With a sim­ple change, The point­GUARD is designed to save com­pa­nies money and make their oper­a­tions more effi­cient by reduc­ing pal­let dam­age, pro­tect­ing the prod­uct trav­el­ing on the pal­let, and elim­i­nat­ing wood chips and debris.
