The OSR Shuttle® from Knapp Logistics Automation is a semi-automatic processing system for order picking, storage, buffering, returns handling and many other potential uses. Based on a goods-to-person principle, products stored in trays, containers or cartons are transported to operating staff for processing. Shuttles running independently on various rack levels retrieve the goods from the racks and transfer them to a lift, by which they are directed via conveyor to a number of ergonomically designed work stations. Using this innovative technology a picking performance up to 1,000 order lines per hour is possible.
