The model 810-APS automatic parts sorting scale system sorts items based on pre-programmed weight tolerances. Several models are offered for parts ranging in size from 0.001 to 1 pound. Sorting up to 1,200 parts per hour, the system compares the actual weight of a part to the weight stored in its memory, then rotates to distribute the part to an accept or reject bin. For weighing industrial packaging ranging from 1 to 500 pounds, the model 4693 heavy-duty Checkweigher incorporates weigh station conveyors measuring 4 to 5 feet long and running at speeds up to 220 feet per minute. This permits the unit to weigh up to 50 bag or box packages per minute. The system can weigh items accurately at angles up to ±12 degrees. Suited to weighing candy, seafood, poultry and produce, an expanded line of multi-head scales includes a new 2.5 liter (0.7 gallons) bucket model. The units feature clamshell technology that allows the weigh buckets to open wider and discharge product faster. Product waste is decreased because of the overlapping closure of the buckets. Available in 8, 10 and 14 head configurations, they accommodate up to 7 pounds (3.2 kilograms).
