RF Tag Reader
Accu-Sort Systems has introduced a new product to its line of RFID solutions, the Sentient RFR-02, a fixed-position RF tag reader for use in factory automation, automated material handling and asset identification applications. The new unit is compatible with the ISO 15693 standard allowing it to read and write to passive tags (RF transponders) operating at a frequency of 13.56 MHz. The compact RFR-02 can be powered from 10 to 30 VDC and has a number of built-in features. Accu-Sort Systems now offers the AccuVision (AV) 3800 CCD camera-based bar code reader. A more compact replacement for its Model AV3700, the new unit measures just 12 inches x 10.5 inches x 6.5 inches compared with 16 inches x 13-1/2 inches x 8.7 inches.
