Model KGF-P 2040 belt curve conveyor provides smooth product turns for small items. The frame features 10 millimeter T-slotted aluminum construction for direct mounting of side rails, sensors and accessories. A 20-millimeter rolling knife edge transfers parts from in-feed to out-feed. To eliminate external interference, a compact center drive is located below the conveyor. Antistatic, FDA-suitable belt options include urethane, polyester and PVC with smooth woven and velvet surfaces. Standard belt curve is 90 degrees, with an optional 180 degree model available. Automatic belt tensioning accommodates stretch to reduce wear and ensure fixed installed dimension....more

Conveyor system from SmartMove Conveyors features “safety-yellow” belting with ESD properties and an engineered modular frame. The conveyor also features a non-tensioning drive system that guides moving parts and is effective for individuals working directly on the line with the conveyor. SmartMove Modular Conveyors features safety snap-link belting which protects operators from injury by acting like a fuse to separate during overload or jams. These conveyors are shipped fully assembled and include a quiet variable speed, direct-drive brushless DC motor that can carry loads up to 200 lbs at speeds up to 200 FPM....more

Hytrol's Zipper is a wide belt conveyor fitted with fixed belt plows for the purpose of merging cartons from multiple parallel lines. The conveyor utilizes a belt type designed for tracking on a low length-to-width ratio. The plow structure is floor supported and spans the conveyor width. This structure is used to support the belt plows over the conveyor belt and near the belt for low profile cartons. The plow support is designed to allow adjustment of exact plow location. The conveyor and plows are direct driven with shaft mounted gear motors and variable speed drives....more

Dorner has enhanced the durability of its 2200 Series conveyors through a re-engineering that completely protects the conveyor’s bearings. Bearings on the 2200 Series conveyor are now installed into a newly redesigned blind housing hole instead of a through hole. This innovation, which protects the bearings from elements that could prematurely damage or corrode the bearings, adds strength and longevity to the conveyor....more

Prab, Inc. has added flanged rollers to its 2-1/2 inches pitch steel belt conveyors. The new roller design allows improved belt tracking and extended conveyor frame life. In addition, longer runs are now possible, which will allow more flexibility and lower maintenance costs. (Photo shows interior detail with guard removed.)...more

ASG has introduced a new series of conveyors for the automation of small part transfer. The CS20 Series is designed to offer economical solutions to system engineering challenges. With a flat belt width of as small as 12 mm, the conveyors can be installed easily in locations with small gaps or narrow spaces. Standard belt widths are available up to 200 mm, with lengths between pulleys from 132 mm to 1000 mm. Single belt designs have capacities up to 1000 grams....more

Lift Gate Conveyors are part of Dorner's Engineering Specials Program (ESP), which gives extra attention to building conveyors with unique dimensions and characteristics above and beyond the dimensions of Dorner's regular conveyor platforms. Some applications with conveyor lines stretching 100 feet or more pose a problem, preventing employees from navigating between the lines. Lift Gate Conveyors solve this problem by giving employees with equipment carts the ability to lift up the conveyor at the pivot point, walk through and return the conveyor to its horizontal position and resume operation....more

Conveyor Technologies Ltd., had enhanced the fast changeover capabilities of its family of low-profile conveyors with an "open-side" stand design that enables endless belt changes in two minutes or less on small to medium size conveyors. The design can save 45 minutes to two hours in downtime over belt change with a conventional stand mounting. The quick-change configuration allows cantilever-style mounting to just one side of the stand. This permits legs on the stand's opposite side to stop short of the conveyor frame, eliminating obstructions to slide-off/slide-on belt removal and installation....more

Dorner's Pallet Option 3200 Series conveyors are useful in securing or separating items on a conveyor for additional assembly or processing. "Pallets" on a conveyor can take on several shapes and sizes depending on the specific application. Typically, pallets are small containers or other holding devices attached directly to the conveyor through pre-engineered holes on the conveyor's belt. Pallet conveyors are ideal for applications requiring items to be separated from each other, or applications needing additional manual or robotic assembling down the conveyor line. Dorner's new pallet option is also available on its 2200 Series conveyors....more
