Electric Column Lift Manipulator
Unidex, Inc. has introduced the heavy-duty Model ECL Series Electric Column Lift manipulator with a load capacity of up to 500 lbs. The ECL manipulator is designed as a fine-height lifting system with 270-degree articulating arms plus end effectors for handling close tolerance work positioning requirements. The ECL Series manipulators have a standard lift stroke of 54 inches and a load capacity of 500 lbs. 96 inches from the centerline. An Aut-O-Loc braking system provides firm support and protects the operator from downward movement in case of chain or drive failure....more

Wheel Handling End Effectors
Positech has developed wheel handling end effectors to adapt to increases in the size and weight of wheels. When an end effector is used with the appropriate lifting device, it greatly improves an operator's ability to lift and position wheels through the manufacturing process. Some of these processes include pick/place transfers, loading vertical/horizontal chucks or rotating wheels for inspection. The lifting device and end effector have powered functions for the lift and grip forces, which help minimize the risk of injury to the upper body, arms and hands. Operators of different size and strength can handle the work. There is no need to rotate operators to prevent fatigue....more
