Paper Roll Handling Device
The SPIDER is a paper roll handling device that ensures that paper rolls are in complete roundness before the roll is positioned on a high-speed, web fed printing press, thus eliminating the need to stop the press and return the damaged roll. Microprocessing and ultra-sound technologies are used to quickly and accurately evaluate the paper roll for roundness. Test results can be viewed on a LCD display on site or directed to a standard PC for further analysis. The unit is easy to use and there is no need to position it precisely.
