Rack is electrically powered to move on rails

Mobile racking helps increase storage area and expand a warehouse. Any number of cantilever and selective rack rows can be mounted on Schaefer mobile bases that are electrically powered to move on rails. Mobile bases are designed so a straddle-style fork lift can drive under. All power-operated mobile bases are equipped with Class 2 safety light barriers on the long sides to protect operating personnel. If the light beam is interrupted, the vehicle and the mobile racking system stop immediately. The overrun of the mobile bases is a maximum of 1.18 inches.
