Imager improved for direct part marks

The Matrix Upgrade 2007 imager for industrial applications using bar codes, 2D, stacked and postal codes offers new features. An improved reader with decoding libraries and dedicated external lighting system accessory line that includes bright field, dark field, dome, spot and coaxial lightings, allows for higher performance on direct part marked applications. Supporting the most common ISO/IEC metric measurement and print quality test specifications, the system verifies print mark quality, producing a specification parameter report and a symbol grade based on the results. A run time self-tuning function increasesreading performance with a built-in photometry calculation.
