Encased in a sturdy housing with built-in convection cooling, the DS/CM synchronous servo motor series includes standstill torques ranging from 1 to 68 Newton-metres. Peak performance ratings of up to 238 Newton-metres and high overload capacity accommodate most power requirements. Offered in three sizes and three different lengths for each size, motors can be mounted directly on a machine or integrated into a standard or reduced backlash gear motor. For use with low-power applications, the DS model features include 24-volt holding brakes. Equipped with servo brakes, the CM model’s highenergy magnets yield a high overload capacity of 400% standstill for high rotational accuracy and low cogging.
