The AV6010 long-range camera system installs easily to read 1D and 2D bar codes, as well as OCR and video coding. An auto configuration wizard helps cut installation time by an estimated 70%. Camera, illumination, decoder and power supplies are all incorporated into a single unit. Ideal for high-speed parcel sortation and use in warehousing, the camera operates for 75,000 hours without failure. Each major component is linked via an internal Ethernet network. No single camera can cause system-wide failure because its functionality can be assumed by any one of the other cameras.
