MC35 Enterprise digital assistant all-in-one handheld mobile communication device manages voice and data applications. Combining cellular technology, global positioning satellite, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the unit includes laptop functionality, camera and bar code reader. The device captures data, including signatures, and supports high-speed EDGE wireless data networks based on the GSM standard for wireless. For better control over wireless WAN usage and costs, the device connects to an organization’s wireless LAN (WLAN) via 802.11b/g for data communications, while Bluetooth functionality permits wireless connections to printers and other peripherals.
