Add expansion modules in the field

Enabling mobile workers to change the Workabout Pro wireless handheld device in the field as their work requirements evolve makes them more productive. The unit is offered in two models: the C includes an alphanumeric keyboard with 52 keys; the S includes 25 keys. Field installable expansion modules range from scanners, imagers and RFID modules to wireless LAN and wireless WAN radios. A hardware developer’s kit allows the development of custom expansion modules to address unique needs. In addition to capturing data, the device also offers cellular phone functions and a full color display.
