Gator Grip Drum Grab

Wesco's Economy Gator Grip drum grab meets market demand for a lower-cost product featuring the Auto Grip Lock. It is priced at less than half the cost of the heavy-duty Gator Grip models. Two Economy Gator Grip models are available: Single Drum Fork Mount (1000 lb. capacity) and Dual Drum Fork Mount (2000 lb. capacity). Traditional drum grab devices rely on drum weight and gravity to maintain a positive lock. With these, a drum may bounce during transportation, causing it to be momentarily weightless. This can cause the grip to open and drop the drum. Wesco's Auto Grip Lock automatically locks the grip jaws closed and maintains a positive lock throughout drum transport. The jaws do not unlock until the drum is placed on the ground. The Economy Gator Grip can be used with steel, fiber and poly drums (with either open or closed heads).
