Automated Robotic Vision Racking Technology

High Production Technology (HPT) has introduced the RapidRacking™ system, an intelligent vision-guided robotic solution for unloading and racking a mixed series of automotive panels. To unload a formed part at the end of the line, the RapidRacking system indexes three times and positions the part underneath the cameras, which are stationed at the conveyors. This information is then fed to the robots where the program tells them how they need to adjust their position. The robot makes the necessary adjustments, picks up the part and loads it into the rack.
