Extension Plug Doubles Conveyor Belt Length

Plant engineers can reduce equipment costs and increase efficiency in conveyor belt applications with the AS-i Extension Plug. Traditionally, the maximum length of a conveyor belt using one AS-Interface master with two repeaters was limited to 300 meters. Now, the AS-i Extension Plug allows each segment of the belt to reach 200 meters before a repeater is used, doubling the potential length of a conveyor with a single AS-Interface network to 600 meters, and eliminating the need for multiple networks. The AS-i Extension Plug can be installed at the furthest point from the AS-Interface power supply.
