Wheels and Casters - Dual wheel steering provides the maximum control and maneuverability. Safety Toe-Guards prevent toe roll over without adding unnecessary width or length to the unit. Front casters absorb shock and provide smooth travel on uneven surfaces. Steering and Controls - Curved and contoured, the steering/drive handle allows operators to place hands in a natural and comfortable position. Lift and lowering controls are within easy reach as well as an emergency "E" Stop to instantly terminate all power on the unit. Powered drive units feature an Auto Stop Release Handle, which stops the unit when the handle is released to prevent coasting. Safety Features - In addition to Toe-Guards, the "E" Stop, and Auto Stop Release Handles, the Trans-Positioner features a convenient lever actuated locking hand brake. By applying varying amounts of pressure, users can control the travel speed of the unit with much greater precision than with a foot brake. When locked, the unit cannot be moved, is extremely stable, and suitable for use as a work platform. A "Stay Clean" safety shield between the mast and the operator provides high visibility and keeps hands and fingers safe.

Versatility and Adjustability - Trans-Positioners are available in two basic configurations. Fork Over models with forks directly over the legs are designed for use with skids or open bottom pallets. Straddle units have legs outside of the forks and can be used with any type of skid or pallet even ones with closed bottoms. Straddle Trans-Positioners feature adjustable width legs that can be set to work with pallets of varying widths. They also have rail mounted forks that can be quickly and easily narrowed or widened without being removed from the fork carriage.

Standard Convenience Features - A battery discharge indicator is clearly visible and provides battery status in 25% increments at a glance. Quick connect battery cables attach to battery in seconds with no tools required.
