Container Transporter/Rotator

The Container Transporter/Rotator from Southworth Products Corp. combines three functions in one machine. It can be used to transport containers from a staging area, to a work cell and back again. While in the work cell the unit will raise a 1500 lb. load up to 35 inches and rotate it with side tilting forks up to 90 degrees in either direction. Lift and tilt are controlled independently so containers can be positioned at a comfortable working height for any size worker. The unit is ideally suited for use with "drop gate" style containers. Because there is no mast to reach over, workers can "walk into" containers to access even the deepest parts without bending, reaching, or stretching. The tilt function is operated by a remote control so workers can adjust loads as layers are removed without having to walk around the unit.
