Motoman Robotics, a division of Yaskawa America, has announced its participation of the Robotic Industries Association (RIA) Educator Sponsorship program by sponsoring Highland Park High School (Topeka, KS), Ivy Tech Community College (Columbus, IN), Spot-Lowe Technology Center (Lewisburg, TN) and Wichita Area Technical College (Wichita, KS) for membership to the RIA.
Boy Scouts of America Troops 533 and Troop 1907 of Cypress, Texas, raise $27,000 during fertilizer and mulch fundraiser.

The newest member to join the Reusable Packaging Association, Federal Supply Services International, brings with it unique capabilities and experience within the reusable supply chain.
The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association estimates that shipments totaled $8.502 billion for 2011, an increase of $1.86 billion from 2010 shipments of $6.642 billion.
The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association also elected officers at it's annual meeting.

Through various fundraising efforts, employee generosity and corporate gifts, Nissan Forklift Corporation, headquartered in Marengo, Illinois, has donated more than $242,000 for the United Way of Greater McHenry County.

As the economy continues to gradually show signs of improvement, retail-based shippers are being proactive in shifting from cost-cutting to growth. That was one of the main findings of the Third Annual State of the Retail Supply Chain report by The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and Auburn University.
