Debuting at ProMat, the pointGUARD pallet protector extends the useful lifespan of 40 x 48-inch wooden block and stringer pallets five-fold, said Callen Cochran, business development manager for United Pallet Services (Booth 1784).
In a press conference Tuesday morning, new ProMat exhibitor Bell and Howell (Booth 3553) unveiled a gantry-style top-apply labeling machine that uses a single head to achieve top speeds up to 80 packages per minute—nearly three times the output of traditional systems.
Prior to Tuesday’s morning keynote session, the winners of the inaugural ProMat Innovation Awards were announced.
