The Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM) has announced its participation in MHIA’s ProMat 2013 event to be held January 21-24, 2013 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

ProMat is one of the largest annual supply chain exhibitions in North America, and features what’s new and what’s next in equipment and systems solutions for the supply chain. In addition to an extensive exhibit hall, the event will include three keynotes, 70 show-floor educational seminars and several collocated education partner events.

“This is an incredible opportunity for AIM and its members to partner again with MHIA and to expand AIM’s visibility,” states Chuck Evanhoe, chairman, AIM board of directors. “While it may seem that bar codes, radio frequency identification (RFID), mobile commerce and mobile IT are becoming ubiquitous, with a broad range of applications leveraging bar coding, RFID, direct part marking, WiFi and Real Time Location Systems (RTLS), these technologies are often used at a minimal level because organizations don’t fully understand all the benefits these technologies can offer when deployed throughout an operation. A visit to the AIM pavilion offers a chance to see first-hand the innovative solutions available today.”

AIM companies participating in the Pavilion include: Evanhoe & Associates, Gulton, Metalcraft, Portsmith Technologies, Tharo Systems and Videx, Inc. Space is available until November 1—contact the AIM office for details.

In addition to organizing an AIM pavilion, AIM will host a half-day conference on January 22, from 10am – noon at McCormick Place. Speakers include executives from AIM member companies: Microscan, Portsmith Technologies and Woelco Labeling Solutions.

For more information about leasing space within the AIM pavilion, please contact Tom Carbott at MHIA by email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or phone 704-676-1190.

ProMat 2013 is scheduled to be held January 21-24, 2013 in Chicago’s McCormick Place South. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete ProMat 2013 coverage.
