The Anderson-Crane Company is now a member of the Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA). Founded in 1944, family-owned Anderson-Crane Company manufactures grain conveyor systems and is making plans to double the size of their factory that’s located in Litchfield, MN.
Their growth is coming from the rush of new orders from breweries, taconite mills and animal-feed mills in the US, Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh and Trinidad. Due to their growth, the shop has recently purchased a high-tech water-jet cutter made by Jet Edge of St. Michael. This will replace their jagged-edged plasma metal cutter that caused them to spend more time on refinishing parts.
Anderson-Crane specializes in custom fabrication of material handling equipment such as screw feeders, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, hoppers, bins and other sheet metal parts. It is a total solution supplier of bearings, mechanical power transmission equipment, electric motors and controls, conveyor systems and components, belting, hose and rubber products, and plant maintenance supplies.
