The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its January 2015 booked orders increased 0.4% when compared to January 2014 orders.
January 2015 booked orders when compared to December 2014 booked orders were down 5.9%. January booked orders were flat for bulk handling equipment and down 8.1% for unit handling equipment when compared to December.
CEMA’s January 2015 billed sales (shipments) increased by 10.5% when compared to January 2014 sales. January 2015 billed sales when compared to December 2014 billed sales were up 2.4%.
January billed sales were down 0.7% for bulk handling equipment and up 4.5% for unit handling equipment when compared to December.
Separately, CEMA announced officer appointments following elections at its annual meeting.
