CEMA reports booked orders for November 2014 up 17.7% from November 2013

November shipments down 0.9% from November 2013.


The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association reported that its November 2014 booked orders increased 17.7% when compared to November 2013 orders.

November 2014 booked orders when compared to October 2014 booked orders were down 21.6%. November booked orders were down 20.1% for bulk handling equipment and down 22.6% for unit handling equipment when compared to October.

CEMA’s November 2014 billed sales (shipments) decreased by 0.9% when compared to November 2013 sales. November 2014 billed sales when compared to October 2014 billed sales were down 21.7%.

November billed sales were down 15.0% for bulk handling equipment and down 25.2% for unit handling equipment when compared to October.
